Captain America- Civil War: Battle at the Alamo!
My Free Comic Book Day print!!

Done for our local Comic Shop, Dragon's Lair.. I wanted to bring the adventure to our hometurf. What better way than to have the key players of Civil War battling it out in front of the Alamo!

This is being offered as an 11x17 signed and numbered print limited to 50. If you're in the area, swing on by!

Dungeons + Dragons Lair

The first of my 2 new prints has officially hit the store!! You can order now in the Prints section of my website store or swing by Free Comic Book Day to pick one up in person!!

This print is meaningful to me in a few ways..

First, it's  a thank you to the comic store dragon's Lair who has graciously offered to let us be part of their Free Comic Book Day festivities..

It's also a mashup of 2 of my fave things.. .don Bluth's groundbreaking 1983 laserdisk videogame "Dragon's Lair" which let you take the role of Dirk the Daring to defeat the dragon and rescue Princess Daphne.. Bluth is a amazing illustrator and animator and watching is art come to life in a video game was mind-blowing..

It takes these characters and tosses them into the legendary  world of Dungeons & Dragons.. D&D has been a source of inspiration ever since I discovered it in my youth.

Here, I've combined the two and have Dirk and Daphne facing off against such iconic D&D creatures as goblins, a rust monster, a gelatinous cube, a beholder.. and then the queen of dragons herself, TIAMAT!!!

Having this available as a print inside a store of the same name makes me so damn happy lol.

Anyway, please come on down and join us for the fun at Dragon's Lair San Antonio on Saturday, May 7th to get your hands on loads of FREE COMICS! They'll have over 30 titles to choose from, plus events, guest artists, and more! Doors open at 10 AM so don't miss it!!

I love your Godzilla redesign, looks so badarse, like a Gorilla-Whale. Very Lovecraft-esque.

Hello! I really like your artwork!
Would you mind if I ask a few questions? About your career and art?

I wanted to comment on the Gojira redesign: of course it's far from Godzilla is, but I really like that innovative approach to the origin of its name. Now they can battle over which one is the real "Gorilla Whale" If you disabled comments because you were afraid of Gojira's fans reaction, then don't worry, I think they'll all appreciate the idea.

since it's still better than American Godzilla ;P
